Minnesota Job Partners has been selected to be your service provider by a committee of your former colleagues The purpose of this Dislocated Worker Program Grant is to help you prepare for new employment. But no matter what your immediate plan is, we need you to register for this program now so that this program will be fully funded. . Please review a summary of the program benefits so that you are aware of the opportunities available to you. This program is totally free to you, and has some very worthwhile benefits. We encourage you to take full advantage of it. . At this time Boston Scientific has declined to offer us a list of all those who are eligible for this program, so we would appreciate your help in reaching out to colleagues that you know were also laid off and let them know about this program. . The registration session is the first step to enrollment. It is important that you call the number below to sign up for an upcoming registration session. Following the registration session you will be assigned to meet with a career counselor to complete your enrollment. Please call 612-676-3710 to reserve a seat. . When you attend the Registration Session you will need to bring: 1. Your notice of layoff from Boston Scientific 2. Three forms of idenitication (please bring all three): a. Your Driver's License b. When you you are enrolled in the Dislocated Worker Program you will be assigned to a career counselor who will guide you through our services while you are intransition. it is expected that you will stay in touch with your counselor at least once per month through phone, face to face, or email contact. . Our workshops will prepare you for an effective job search. Check the monthly calendar to find the dates and times for these important workshops. We have added most of the key Bioscience companies, and Information Technology Companies, and will be adding more as we find them.
