Minnesota Job Partners has been selected to be your service provider by a committee of your former colleagues The purpose of this Dislocated Worker Program Grant is to help you prepare for new employment. But no matter what your immediate plan is, we need you to register for this program now so that this program will be fully funded.
Please review a summary of the program benefits so that you are aware of the opportunities available to you. This program is totally free to you, and has some very worthwhile benefits. We encourage you to take full advantage of it.
The Medtronic Grant will run through September 30, 2010, so you will have a full year to receive services and find a job before the end of the grant.

Enrollment Process
To become enrolled in the program there are two steps.
First, attend the Registration session, and second meet with a career counselor.

Counselor Contact
When you you are enrolled in the Dislocated Worker Program it is expected that you will stay in touch with your counselor at least once per month through phone, face to face, or email contact. If you are out of contact for several months you may be exited from the program an ineligible to receive further services.
Job Search Workshops
These workshops will prepare you for an effective job search process. Check the monthly calendar to find the dates and times for these important workshops. Call to register for workshops and verify schedule. 612-676-3710.
Virtual Job Fair
In addition to our "In Person" Job Fair we have an ongoing "Virtual Job Fair" on our Job Search page. We have added most of the key Bioscience companies, and Information Technology Companies, and will be adding more as we find them.
