Dislocated Worker Homepage

Welcome to Nestle Nutrition employees

Minnesota Job Partners has been selected by a committee of your colleagues to provide Dislocated Worker Program services in order to help you prepare for new employment. Please review a summary of the program benefits so that you are aware of the opportunities available to you.

The Dislocated Worker Program is a State-funded grant, so there is no cost to you. We strongly recommend that you enroll in this valuable program.

Rapid Response Information Sessions

The State of Minnesota Rapid Response Team has already conducted a series of information meetings to inform all the affected employees at Nestle about the Dislocated Worker program and how to register. Based on attendance at that meetings, a planning committee has formed to arrange for how to best schedule services going forward. We will post new information here as it is determined.

Orientation/Registration Session

This session is the first of two steps in becoming enrolled in the program. This gives an overview of the benefits of the program and takes you through the application forms.

We have conducted a series of these Registration sessions onsite at Nestle in the past few months. We also hold two Registration sessions per month at our Minneapolis office. Please call 612-676-3710 to register for the next session.

When you attend the Registration/Enrollment session, you need to bring:
   1) A valid MN drivers license, (or Gov't Photo ID card ) AND
   2) Your Social Security card, (or Pay Stub or W-2 form
with your SSN on it
) AND

   3) Your Birth Certificate, or Passport or Alien Registration Card

Counselor Meetings

Individual meetings with your counselor is the second necessary step in the enrollment process. Once this meeting is completed you will be fully enrolled and ready to receive all the valuable services of this program.

These meetings may also be scheduled onsite at Nestle or at our Minneapolis or Plymouth offices so that you can choose to come before or after a shift or on a day off.

Job Search Workshops

For a calendar of current workshops held at our Minneapolis office click here.

Please note that these Dislocated Worker Program services are in addition to the services you may receive from Lee Hecht Harrison. We strongly encourage you to take full advantage of all the Lee Hecht Harrisioni services right away since they may be more short-term than this program.

Please bookmark this page so you can return to see information about Workshops and other resources that will be available to you through this program.

Nestle Healthcare Nutrition St. Louis Park facility has been certified for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Benefits.

This includes all Nestle employees in the St. Louis Park facility and all ADECCO workers in the St. Louis Park facility. You will receive a letter soon from the State TAA office. Meanwhile read about the TAA Program and its benefits here.

You will need to work with your Dislocated Worker Counselor to apply for these additional benefits.
