Please review a summary of the program benefits so that you are aware of the opportunities available to you.
The Dislocated Worker Program is a State-funded grant, so there is no cost to you. We strongly recommend that you enroll in this valuable program.
An application has been made for Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) which, if approved, will offer even more extensive benefits. Watch this webpage for updates on the application process.
Orientation/Registration Session
This session is the first of two steps in becoming enrolled in the program. This session walks you through the paperwork to get enrolled and gives an overview of the benefits of the program.

What to bring to the Registration Session:
Three forms of idenitication (please bring all
three):
a.
Your Driver's License or MN Photo ID
b.
Your social security card or IRS W-2 Form with SSN on it.
c.
You birth certificate, US passport, or permanent resident card
If you cannot find some of these in time, you should still come and register and we will collect IDs later in the process when you meet with your counselor.

Individual meetings with counselors will begin Individual Employment Planning. Once this meeting is completed you will be fully enrolled and ready to receive all the valuable services of this program.

We may be over 40, but we’re not over the hill. Learn issues over-40 workers face in the job search, and how to address them effectively with employers.
This workshop helps you identify what makes you distinctive and valuable in order to focus all your job search communications toward communicating your value to employers.
