Welcome to employees of Wilder Foundation

Minnesota Job Partners thanks you for selecting us to provide dislocated worker services during this difficult time of transition. You won't have to go through this alone. Job Partners is available to provide Dislocated Worker Program services in order to help you prepare for new employment. Please review a summary of the program benefits so that you are aware of the opportunities available to you.

The Dislocated Worker Program is a State-funded grant, so there is no cost to you. We strongly recommend that you enroll in this valuable program. The state law requires you to be employed a minimum of 20 hours per week to be eligible for the Dislocated Worker Program. We recognize that there is a large number of part-timers who will not be eligible for the whole program, and we have arranged with the state to be able to offer our Job Search preparation workshops to those part time workers. So, please take advantage of these workshops.

Enrollment can be completed in two steps:

1) Attend a Registration Session for an orientation to the program, complete application and other forms. For those without a college degree who would like to take a brief math and reading assessment, it will be available at the end.

2) Attend a Counseling Meeting to begin an Individual Employment Plan (IEP).

Orientation/Registration Session

This session is the first of two steps in becoming enrolled in the program. This gives an overview of the benefits of the program and takes you through the enrollment process.

Call to register for the next Registration session at our University Avenue office:  612-676-3710.

When you attend the Registration session, there are several things you must bring:
  1) Your Social Security card, (or W-2 form)
  2) Your Drivers License (or other Government photo ID, like Passport)

  3) Your Birth Cerfiticate, US Passport, or other document proving your citzenship or right to work (These documents include Native American Tribal document, public assistance or food stamp records, Alien registration card indicating Right to Work, Naturalization Certificate, foreign passport stamped with eligible to work, hospital birth record showing US citizenship.)

Counselor Meetings

Individual meetings with counselors will begin Individual Employment Planning. Once this meeting is completed you will be fully enrolled and ready to receive all the valuable services of this program.

Job Search Workshops

Our Job Search workshops prepare you for an effective job search process. We will assist you with a strong resume and to be confident and ready for the interview process. Please call 612-676-3710 to register for the session you want to attend.
