Employee Homepage

Welcome to employees of Wilder Foundation

Minnesota Job Partners thanks you for selecting us to provide dislocated worker services during this difficult time of transition. You won't have to go through this alone. Job Partners is available to provide Dislocated Worker Program services in order to help you prepare for new employment. Please review a summary of the program benefits so that you are aware of the opportunities available to you.

The Dislocated Worker Program is a State-funded grant, so there is no cost to you. We strongly recommend that you enroll in this valuable program. The state law requires you to be employed a minimum of 20 hours per week to be eligible for the Dislocated Worker Program. We recognize that there is a large number of part-timers who will not be eligible for the whole program, and we have arranged with the state to be able to offer our Job Search preparation workshops to those part time workers. So, please take advantage of these workshops.

Clarification for  Part-time Workers

If you work less than 20 hours per week for Wilder, AND if you have a second job in the same occupation where your hours have also been reduced, AND if the total lost hours add up to 20 hours or more, you may be eligible for the Dislocated Worker Program.

For example, if you work 16 hours for Wilder AND have a second job where your hours have been reduced by 8, THEN your work schedule has been reduced by 24 hours, and you would be eligible for the program.

Please call Laina Stensvold if you believe you are an eligible part-timer and would like to enroll in the program:

612-676-3716.

Enrollment can be completed in two steps:

1) Attend a Registration Session for an orientation to the program, complete application and other forms. For those without a college degree who would like to take a brief math and reading assessment, it will be available at the end.

2) Attend a Counseling Meeting to begin an Individual Employment Plan (IEP).

Orientation/Registration Session
