Who We Are
Minnesota Job Partners has been selected by a committee of Department of Corrections employees to provide employment services to those impacted by the layoffs. We provide you with opportunities for training, career counseling, résumé assistance, job placement, financial support - all at no cost to participants. State funding makes these benefits possible.

How to Enroll
Participation in our program begins with contacting Minnesota Job Partners for eligibility screening. This quick process is facilitated by friendly, experienced staff who will begin by explaining what the Dislocated Worker Program is and how it works. Next, you will complete your application, with the facilitator walking you through the paperwork & answering any important questions you may have for us.

After your application is processed, your counselor will schedule an one-on-one session in person or virtually. In this meeting with your counselor, you will establish a relationship and share your story; your education, your work history, your family, health, finances - you want to give your counselor your full history so they can best help you determine a plan to achieve your goals.

Once you have completed the application, provided all required documentation, and met with your counselor, you are officially enrolled and can begin taking advantage of all of the benefits our program has to offer: Career Counseling, Résumé Development, Job Search Assistance, Interview Preparation, Funding for Training, Financial Support, and Job Search Workshops!
