Finance Manager in Training

  • Maintain financial systems and procedures.

  • Manage grants and grant reports.

  • Sustain business relationships with bankers and audit firms.

  • Perform bookkeeping operations.

  • Generate accounting and financial reporting.

  • Evaluate systems for tracking funding operations.

  • Determine timely reporting standards.

  • Create and manage project budgets.

  • Manage annual accounting audit.

  • Ensure accuracy of records.

  • Manage all insurance contracts.

  • Manage benefits and payroll.



  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.

  • Proficiency in accounting programs and related software.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • High level of integrity and trustworthiness.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



  • 4-year college degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.

  • 4 years of experience with increased responsibility.

  • Proficiency in Sage Intacct accounting system preferred.


Job Type

The Finance Manager in Training is a full-time, 40-hours per week position. 


Paid Training

The new Finance Manager will be trained by the outgoing Finance Manager for six months.

Based in our Minneapolis office (2829 University Ave. SE, Suite 100) next to the Prospect Park Light Rail Station on the Green Line. 

Competitive Salary

The annual salary is $77,995.
